Douni Sarkar--case filed against

Who is Shyam Giri, or Douni Sarkar? He heads the Douni Narsingh ashram in Madhya Pradesh. And he is just one more guru accused of exploitation. A woman, now married, claims that he sexually exploited her from the time she was 13. With her husband's support, she finally informed the police. A case is registered against him, but Shyam Giri has escaped from his ashram. Are there other accusations, or do his followers support him? It remains to be seen.

An update on Ashutosh Maharaj

Ashutosh Maharaj remains in a freezer [see earlier post]--but now the court has ordered that his last rites be performed. Will the order be carried out? His followers still claim he is alive and in samadhi, but those in samadhi do not need a freezer--they can still their breath, preserve their body, even underground.
